HNB FINANCE donates a consignment of road signboards to Nugegoda Police

In line with its deep commitment to social development, premier financial services firm HNB FINANCE recently donated a consignment of road signboards to the Nugegoda Police precinct to help in the enforcement of responsible road use.

The donation was one of its pilot community projects under its sustainability and CSR strategy. HNB FINANCE Chief Operating Officer W.S.P Arangala and HNB FINANCE Marketing Head Udara Gunasinghe represented the company at the official presentation of the signs to Mirihana Police Senior Superintendent of Police Malan Perera.

The company plans to continue its community advancement efforts throughout the year through similar projects that will aid the police divisions of Jaffna, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Kurunegala and Kataragama.

“With escalating motor accidents and vehicular traffic, the police’s efforts to maintain discipline on Sri Lankan roads are both life-saving and time-saving. We wanted to aid in these efforts as part of our overarching strategy to empower society across every available avenue. We look to continue this work as the year progresses and help make the country’s streets safer for all commuters,” said HNB FINANCE Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Chaminda Prabhath.

Established in 2000, HNB FINANCE Ltd. is licensed as a registered Finance Company by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Maintaining an extensive island-wide presence across 48 branches and 21 service centres, HNB FINANCE has over the recent past expanded into new fields of business and now offers SME loans in addition to savings, gold loans, education loans, home loans, personal loans, fixed deposit facilities and leasing products.
