Reaching another milestone in their journey to inspire young minds to create, Sri Lanka\u2019s leading financial services provider, HNB FINANCE held two more arts and crafts programmes for school children in Chillaw and Kantale. Yalu Daskam is an ongoing series of children centred programmes organized at various locations across the country which takes an approach of joyful learning. The most recent arts and crafts programmes were held at the Bishop Edumund Peiris College in Chillaw (October 12), Vaan Ela Vidyalaya and Pansalgodalla Junior High School in Kantale (November 2), in collaboration with Chillaw and Kantale branches.<\/p>\n
Over 300 students together with their parents participated in the programmes lead by renowned artist Dayawansa Kumasaru. Fun painting activities were organized for school goers while awareness programmes on fostering creativity in children were held for parents.
\nStudents were awarded certificates of participation in addition to art and school supplies. Additionally, HNB FINANCE will also present valuable gifts and certificates to the top three winners of the art competition that was held alongside the arts and crafts programme.
